Hi there! I’m Melinda, a graphic designer and collage artist. MsSinda is my creative space where I get to dive into all things design and, of course, collage—my two absolute favourite subjects.
The Logo
If you’d like to know the story behind the MsSinda logo, it’s quite personal to me. The logo is based on a collage I created as my interpretation of my body and how I see it. I have scoliosis and have undergone multiple corrective surgeries, some of which did not go well and resulted in nerve damage. I might delve into the specifics of this collage in a more in-depth journal entry another time, but for now, what you need to know is that the MsSinda logo represents myself in collage form—pieced together and reformed to reflect not perfection, but what I perceive as an imperfect yet still beautiful and unique body.

Work
Here, I’ll showcase a variety of collage projects, allowing both myself and others to track my progress as I continue to learn and grow in collage art. While I’ve honed my collage style over more than 10 years as a graphic designer, this space will be all about experimenting with different collage techniques. After all, perfection is the enemy of progress, so instead of aiming for perfection, I’m embracing collage experimentation.
